The Restore Nature Declaration affirms a shared commitment to close the structural financing gap that holds back regenerative and restoration efforts across Southeast Asia. The region’s green economy represents a USD 300–500 billion opportunity, yet Indigenous custodians and regional SMEs remain undercapitalised — caught in the “missing middle” between grant funding and institutional finance.

Emerging from IMPACT WEEK 2025, the Declaration anchors the Restore Nature Discovery Phase, advanced by the NO.17 Foundation and TPC (Tsao Pao Chee) in collaboration with SecondMuse and the Economics of Mutuality Alliance (Mutual Value Labs). The initiative is designed as a systemic capital platform: it aggregates enterprises and landscapes into portfolios to enable risk distribution, capital readiness, and scale. By blending philanthropic, concessional, and commercial capital into catalytic stacks — and embedding rigorous measurement and verification — Restore Nature demonstrates that ecological restoration can deliver measurable economic, social, and environmental returns.

This is not an advocacy initiative. It is a redesign of capital in service of a regenerative, life-affirming well-being economy.
